We value your satisfaction and want to make sure your experience is smooth, transparent, and fair. This Refund & Return Policy explains how we handle refunds, returns, and exchanges for both physical and digital products purchased from https://mbomamusic.co.za.


1. General Policy Overview

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms below.
Our policy applies only to purchases made directly through our website and in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.


2. Refunds (Before Order Processing)

We offer refunds only if your order has not yet been processed or shipped.

Once an order has entered the processing or shipping stage, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

If you request a refund before processing has begun, the amount will be returned to you via the same payment method used for the purchase (PayFast or EFT), minus any applicable processing fees.


3. No Refunds for Shipped Goods

Once a physical product has been dispatched or shipped, we are unable to issue refunds, except in cases where the product is defective or covered by a guarantee (see Section 5 below).


4. Digital Product Refunds

Due to the nature of digital goods (such as project files, beats, and other downloadable content), all sales are final once the download or access link has been sent.

We do not provide refunds for digital files that have been delivered, downloaded, or accessed.
Please ensure that your order details are correct before making payment.


5. Product Guarantee & Returns (Physical Goods)

We stand by the quality of our products. If your physical product (such as a keyboard or accessory) appears faulty or defective within its guarantee period, please contact us immediately at support@mbomamusic.co.za.

We will assess your case and may request:

  • Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, etc.)
  • Photos or videos showing the issue

If the product is found to have a manufacturing or functional defect, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or exchange at our discretion.

Please note:

  • Items damaged through misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repair are not covered.
  • The guarantee applies only to products used under normal conditions.

6. How to Request a Refund or Return

To request a refund (for unprocessed orders) or report a defective item:

  1. Email support@mbomamusic.co.za
  2. Include your order number, full name, and description of the issue.
  3. Attach any supporting evidence (proof of payment, product photos, etc.)

Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.


7. Shipping Costs for Returns

If a product qualifies for return under warranty or guarantee, we will provide instructions for returning it.

In most cases, customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed. If the item is confirmed to be defective, we may cover or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.


8. Processing Time for Refunds

Approved refunds (for unprocessed orders) will be processed within 5–10 business days after confirmation.
Refunds are issued through the same payment method used for the purchase.


9. Exceptions

Refunds and returns are not applicable in the following cases:

  • Digital products already downloaded or accessed.
  • Items damaged after delivery due to misuse or neglect.
  • Products altered or repaired by unauthorised third parties.
  • Orders past the guarantee period.
